Two draft  regulations related to Law 122 to be voted on in May sitting of Brome-Missisquoi MRC

In April 2018, the MRC served notice that it would present draft regulations regarding two aspects of Law 122, the law that granted municplaites the authority to abolish municipal referendums.

• Draft regulation 06-0418 involves raising the threshold of fiscal items requiring referendums to $100 000 from the current $25 000. 
• Draft regulation 07-0418 involves easing the requirements for publishing public notices  in local newspapers and posting these notices on the web.
