The Longest Canoe Trail In The Northeast Marks Its First DecadeThis year the Northern Forest Canoe Trail marked the 10th anniversary of its official opening. From its western end in Old Forge, New York, the trail snakes steadily northeast across Vermont, briefly into Quebec, then across the narrow top of New Hampshire. Finally, it takes the long way across Maine to end in Fort Kent.
